Job Description

• Assist the Project Manager in the upgrading work of commercial building including Fire Alarm Systems, FCC room, Basement Carpark, Green Mark certification and renewal, Mechanical Ventilation, Fire Protection Systems, Lift modernization project and other projects;
• Manage and oversee the contractor work and progress on site during the project execution stage from start to defect liability or maintenance period so that it is completed on time, according to requirements and within budget;
• Assist Project Manager in developing and reviewing project schedules, proposal specification and tender. Coordinate with other stakeholder in our organization and monitor performance against the project plan;
• Manage and monitor the activities of contractors to ensure their works are coordinated with  stakeholders, tenants, subcontractor and operation of commercial building;
• Coordinate and resolve any technical issues during project execution and maintenance or defect liability period and minimise delays and irregularities;
• Attend regular meetings with Management/Consultant/Contractors, assess contractor claims and variations, prepare reports to communicate the status of the project;
• Ensure that all workplace safety rules and regulations are being observed;
• Assist in coordination of M&E operation tasks and site inspection work if necessary (shift work only if required)

Job Requirements

Job Requirements and Competencies:

• Diploma/Degree in Architectural Design, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering,  Building Services or equivalent discipline.
• Good experiences in project management or coordination of M&E /Architectural works with knowledge in architectural works and shopping mall renovation project
• Ability to work with consultants and manage contractors effectively.
• Ability to achieve targets and meet timeline.
• Certified Green Mark Facility Manager and/or conversant in using Sketchup or Autocad design software a plus.
• Conversant with local engineering codes and regulations.
• Good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
