Job Description

Responsible for spare parts receiving, in-coming inspection control, receiving, wrapping/labelling and outgoing quality
for the Singapore spare parts hub.

  • Process ownership of in-coming verification and to ensure product conformance before put away into storage
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Product Specialist/Engineering with regards to in-coming issues and supplier’s quality and
    arrangement for return to supplier.
  • Main contact for Customer Complaints, carry out investigation immediately upon receiving complaint and provide short
    and long term preventive measure. Provide 8D Report as when required / upon customer request.
  • Work closely with Product Specialist/Technical Department/Inter-company quality partners for technical support,
    verification, counter measures, provide solution and communicate to relevant parties.
  • To review and decide faulty items which return from customers, make decision to scrap or repair and follow up status.
    Contact with inter-company Warehouse and Purchasing on wrong/discrepancy parts receive during inbound.
  • To investigate the root causes for external rejects and ensure effective countermeasures are in place by all.
  • To carry out QC check and to count/record stock when discrepancy were found in any occasions.
  • Repack and re-label when wrong physical parts received or wrong physical parts are found at storage.
  • Build up and maintain Picture database and master data.
  • Involve in 3rd party toolshop parts verification, quality check before shipment to customer’s.
  • Responsible for reaching department KPI targets and continuously strike for improvement.
  • Escalation with proposal to next level if problem could not overcome on peer level.
  • Involve in annual stock take.
  • Analyzes the process chain regularly to identify optimizing process potentials.

Job Requirements


  • Technical education in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Machining
  • Added advantage with Business Administration/SCM/Warehousing/Logistics
  • Professional experience: 2-3 Years experienced in the Quality Field and Control of component/parts

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in using ERP system (e.g. SAP) and MS Office Application
  • Capability in various measurement equipment/methods
  • Ability to read technical drawings, GD&T
  • Knowledge of PLM and Cad systems use


Language competencies:

  • Proficiency in speaking and written in English

  • A team player with intercultural skills, able to work independently with high commitment.
  • Good communication and analytical skills and able to deal with people from all levels
